Mom Office Jana Chahiye, Daddy Don’t Go..

Baby T and the family had a very insightful, life changing conversation this morning regarding the importance of finances. She had warned us not to got to office today (which we could oblige given the Diwali holiday). But then I got around to having a heart to heart with her about how you get paid if you go to office.

Your finances worry me, you sure you can get all the gifts I need from now till Christmas?

The conversation went somewhat like this:

Mommy A: But we gotta earn the dough dude. Where do you think that is?

Baby T: (Looks thoughtful and points to the door) There…

Mommy A: Hmm, so someone needs to go get it, right!

Baby T: (Vehemently nods in agreement) Yes, yes, yes (possibly worried about the steady flow of age appropriate toys, very sure not bothered about college ed)

Mommy A: So, mommy needs to go to office you see

Baby T: Jao office (please go)

Mommy A: What about Daddy D?

Baby T: He can stay, gotta climb someone…

There, life’s big questions solved!

What is your “Gotta Go” story with your bubs?
